Step-by-Step Instructions
- Visit the NID correction website (services.nidw.gov.bd)
- Login with your NID number and date of birth
- Select "NID Correction" option
- Choose the fields you want to correct
- Upload supporting documents for correction
- Pay the correction fee online
- Submit the application
- Wait for verification and approval
- Receive updated NID card
Documents Required
- Existing NID card - Photocopy
- Supporting documents for correction (birth certificate, education certificate, etc.)
- Affidavit (if name or date of birth correction)
- New photograph (if photo correction needed)
Processing Time
Normal Processing: 15-30 days
Time may vary based on verification requirements
